Backside of the Barn by olivetreeann

Backside of the Barn

Another view of the barn with my wide angle lens. This time I wondered what it would look like if I turned the camera on its side. Like the horizontal view, the vertical view lets me be very close to something tall without losing the top or bottom of the building (in this case the silos).
The lighting is so beautiful in this shot.

The wide angle is perfect for capturing these. As Dixie said, lovely warm tones, offset by the blue sky.

@dibzgreasley Thank you Debs! I don't know why but I tend to think horizontally when I hear "wide angle" but while I was walking around the barn it occurred to me I should try the vertical layout too.

The bricks look almost like tiles. I like the wispy clouds in the sky.

@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! I think they actually are tiles because up close that's what they look like. And the clouds were perfect that day- as was the temperature and lighting!

Clever girl to flip it to be able to get this tall version of the silos. I love the strong colors in this one too.
