Thank you all! I make my own salad dressing too- so everything really is fresh!

@gardencat @rensala My mother made a wonderful vichyssoise and believe it or not I loved it even as a child! (I liked asparagus and Brussel sprouts too- what can I say I had unusual taste buds for a child!). I wish I had her recipe but it's one of the ones she didn't write down.

We have soup. Lithuanian cold soup is made of beets and fresh cucumbers covered with yogurt. Everyone has their own recipe. It's great for hot days.
