This swan had 5 cygnets, although they were definitely well on the way to turning from ugly ducklings to beautiful swans. They were almost the same size as this one but her maternal instincts came right to the fore when a flock of noisy canada geese came steaming towards her "babies". She put up her "sails" and saw the geese off. Awesome!
