This is my "push challenge" shot for Amy @aspada which was, "Take snap shots of whatever catches your eye from the beginning of the day to the end of the day. Do not look in the viewfinder/LED screen to compose the photo. Do not check the images right after the shot. At the end of the day pick one that you like the most."
Good thing there is a delete button! I had a pile of shots out of focus or of the floor! :) This was a lot of fun, Amy! I'll be giving this another shot!
I actually do this alot more than I should, with the exception that I do check the viewfinder afterwards to see if I got anything worthwhile. One of them got 18 faves, so I won't stop shooting that way, even if I don't do it often (about once a week). This is a great comp for not composing it.
Great result, Jerry! What a different composition to your usual work :) and the light tones are very pretty. I like it! Looking forward to seeing more...
Great shot! lol. I love your stories Jerry! They are so uplifting and make me
giggle. I think I'm going to try that sometime....only because there is a delete button!! :)
I bet this tested your willpower, not looking at the screen after the shot. Not sure I could go back to the film mentality now. As everyone else has already said, really great result from going in blind.
Great shot Jerry - amazing focus and composition for shooting blind. I'd struggle not to check them - but it would be fun and going through them at the end of the day would be interesting!
that would have been a fun challenge.....especially when you get to look at them altogether!! you got great focus on the tyre and fantastic interesting dof!!
Cool colour dof and composition
giggle. I think I'm going to try that sometime....only because there is a delete button!! :)
