For my get pushed partner Mary who gave me the challenge to show her something I really love about the place in Wales where I live.
Today we had fish and chips in Criccieth, the best in the surroundings. After that we walked down to the beach. Stones, water and whatever has been spit out by the sea, the boys love it all. The girl too, though from a carrier height, looking around and watching her brothers. I love this place, especially when the summer guests have left and the beach is quiet again. The old ruin on top op the hill in the distance is Criccieth Castle.
@thresheg I've never been in the ruin/castle, but it's quite a landmark. I've walked a lot in the surroundings and seen it from different angles.
Thanks for the fave!
What a wonderful shot! I love the rocks leading my eye back finally to the ruins of the castle, and your son -- completely absorbed in the matter at hand on the beach. The small detail that enchants me the most is the sandy, dirty bottom that shows the childhood enjoyment of the natural world he inhabits. No fear of getting dirty -- sit down wherever you find the most interesting stuff. Good response to the challenge. Mission accomplished.
Thanks for the fave!
