For get pushed challenge set by Wendy to let one of my children take a portrait of me.
Sep has made this photo. I thought to let him have a go instead of Lev, who has shown the most interest in photography than the other two so far. Sep likes it too, but I tend not to give him the camera as he is a bit more erm... wild. He'll forget he's got the camera, looses the lens cap, knocks the camera on to things etc. I was a bit hesitant as it's the only camera I've got apart from my crappy phone camera, but he really really really really wanted to take photo's, please please please. He said he knew how to use it, but the amount of times he would forget to switch it on and then shout: 'Mummy it's not working!' made me laugh. I showed him how to focus and how to zoom in and out. I've got lots of random pictures, some of me in it, so let's call the above one a candid portrait. I'm not even sure what I was doing there or pointing at or saying.

I gave it to her because of the experience I had with my grandson. It is good to pass on our experience (and love of photography) to the next generation!
This is a treasure! I have given each of my grandson's a SD card of their own to keep their own pics on. We will eventually move onto downloading, deleting, and printing some of their pics so they can have a book to show off.
@farmreporter yes, I've always tagged the photo's they have made, with their name so we can find them back quickly. Good idea to turn it into a photobook one day.
