Groundhog Day was my great-Grandma's Birthday, and then it was my nephew's. Now they are both dead, so it is poignant when I realize the date again and it can sneak up on me because it is often an unmentioned holiday. Here it is for sure going to be sunny tomorrow but not sure that matters because we are in a drought and even 6 more weeks of winter will probably be warm and dry.
I like this shot- especially the way you caught him mid-step. We'll have to check in and see what Punxsatawny Phil "says" tomorrow. Although I put more stock in the Farmer's Almanac!
