In the redwood fog dome we never get the heat the rest of the USA can expect in August but when I mentioned this sign to the clerk inside the store she had an explanation. Not to worry she said, the sign is in the cold wind and always reads a little colder than it really is.
Three Good Things
1. Not needing an air conditioner now that we are back from Wyoming
2. Having a husband who will reread Harry Potter to me while we drive over 3,000 miles
3. Getting to see my inlaws after four years and seeing that they are healthier now
