Sisters

I have two sons, and I grew up with two brothers and Mom was an only child so I had to reach back in the generations for this August word In honor of sisters day. This is my Great Aunt Clara and my Grandma Grace in about 1988

Three Good Things
1. Having a grandma and two great grandmas as I was growing up
2. Getting to be a grandma now
3. The smell of ripe blackberries in my yard

I had a Great Grandma in my life for a while and the thing I remember the most about her was her fur coat and fancy hat. It's great to have the family history shots to see where your family came from, isn't it?
