Recology service

Our trash and recycling are picked up on Monday mornings before dawn, by a company called recology Del Norte and for 19 years, they have done a consistently good job. This last month however we have has our mailbox hit three times, knocked off the post once, tipped to a 30* angle once, and the last time flattened and the post left in splinters. I called to report it to the office and by the time I got home the boss had been here and replaced the boxes, but the next day the mailman left a note saying that while it looked good, the boxes needed to be in the same order they had been before. I sighed and then grumbled on Facebook, and got an instant reply from the recycling company.

Goodness - there must be some bad drivers about! I find that most of this sort of damage is done when people have to back their cars!

It appears the mailman was confused by the new order of the boxes. I presume there are only 2 mailboxes? ...and on the same post? That's the Government for you!

Wow- I hope the recycling co. makes that driver pay for his mistakes- that's too many times to be an "accident" sounds more like really BAD driving! Glad the company is taking care of it though.
