Fallen Fruit

Noticed these fallen apples under the tree slowly going rotten but still retaining their colour.

Lovely shot. Pick them up before the birds get at them though. We had a rather drunk blackbird in our garden once who had been eating the fermenting apples. It was probably the best 'happy hour' he had been to, ha ha.
