Yellow Jersey by pcoulson

Yellow Jersey

Noticed a very large leaders yellow jersey hanging from the tower of Bradford Cathedral, there to promote the Tour de Yorkshire professional cycle race starting next weekend,
Stage 1: 173km - Bridlington to Scarborough, Friday 28 April 2017
Stage 2: 122.5km - Tadcaster to Harrogate, Saturday 29 April 2017
Stage 3: 194.5km - Bradford to Fox Valley Sheffield Sunday 30 April 2017
I'm sure you could not miss this

@dawnee Thank you for your comment Dawn, I will be there to see it on Stage 3 Sunday, the race takes them 1.4 miles or 2.2 km of my house up a very narrow and steep hill may have to use the car or motorbike lol:)

Well spotted. Sounds like quite an event. I'm with you though Peter. Much better to experience it in a car or motorbike. That distance on a push bike sounds a bit drastic.

@onewing Thank you for your comments Babs, Jenny says she would never be able to walk there, thits uphill all the way from our bungalow all the way to where we are going to watch the race, all the roads on route close 3 hours before and 3 hours after the race peloton (main pack) passes by, will be a long day for 5 minutes of cycling action hope the shots are spectacular, lol:)
