Gear change

My entry in this weeks theme Mechanisms, its a monochrome image of the gear change mechanism on my wet mountain bike.

@peterlgrave Thank you Peter I wheeled my bike out of the workshop to take the shot and as you can see it was raining again, this morning is bright and dry and the forecast is much the same all week:)

That looks complicated. Makes for a good b&w shot though as it brings out the detail

@suesouthwood Thank you for your comment Sue, its not that complicated really it has six gears at the rear wheel and three gears at the pedal crank giving a total of eighteen gears all controlled via two twist grips on the handle bars, thinking about it it does sound complicated, lol:)
