this doesn't look like a 'fun run' runner - he looks like he's really going for it.. really like the slight blur, reinforcing the feeling of movement..

@jorlam Thank you for your lovely comments Jorlam, I did set up the shot to show the direction marker and standing was above the runners as they passed by, Parkruns are not classed as fun runs they are officially timed runs with each participant has a unique bar code that is scanned at the finish, giving a position and time, all are recorded nationally, in saying that participants range from serious runners to joggers and walkers, I fall into the later category, John will complete 5km in 21 minutes it takes me 40 minutes I do it just to keep the heart pumping, lol:)
@pcoulson Peter, i'm fully aware the Park Runs are not classified as 'fun runs'.. i know a few folk who run in the Greenhead Park one.
what i meant was that he looks like a guy who takes his running extremely seriously, not for fun.. 😁
@jorlam John definitely takes it very seriously always in the top ten, as a point of interest Huddersfield Parkrun is ranked 109th most difficult and Brighouse is 367th in the country:)
