Today the 11th November is Armistice Day when millions of Britons will wear poppies to pay their respects as well as taking part in a two-minute silence at 11am for the fallen of all wars. On Sunday November 13 there will be memorial services in every city, town and village all over the UK for Remembrance Sunday.
"Lest We Forget"
Love your poppy pictures Peter. We in Australia observe this day too, and had our services in every town that has a shrine built in remembrance yesterday (11th) at 11 o'clock.
@gilbertwood Thank you for your interesting comment Denise, I have attendend both Armistice Day and ANZAC Day services whilst in Australia during different visits, I will be attending our local village service this morning::)
