Goldfinches

A couple of Goldfinches came into my garden this morning.

What beautiful birds!

They are so beautiful. You brought back memories for me Peter.
When we first got married, back when Noah was a lad, I saw one of these beautiful birds in our garden. I got out my trusty Observer's Book of Birds to identify the bird and saw that indeed it was a goldfinch and they lived in weedy waste places. I didn't think our garden looked that bad, ha ha.
