Rhapsody in Blue Rose

Another shot from my garden but not a micro this time, its the first time it has bloomed, and yes its called Rhapsody in Blue

So beautiful and so delicate. Just love the colours. Our flowers have to be tough to survive the extreme weather, so delicate flowers like this don't have much of a chance unless you are forever tending them.

Holy cow, that's nice!! Great exposure, Peter. I see you went down to ISO 50. The results are striking when you compare to my photo shot at ISO 3200.

@stray_shooter Thanks Ron, I almost always aim at ISO 50 to take flowers and the same for landscapes just to get the detail. ( harks back to 35 mm days and Fuji Velvia slide film)
