Gatekeeper Butterfly by pcoulson

Gatekeeper Butterfly

Chased this little butterfly (45 mm across) all over the hedgerow waiting to get a closeup with his wings open.
Well worth the chase, beautiful capture.

Wow this was worth the time and effort. Stunning colors and markings on this gatekeeper. Thank you for coming back to follow after I was gone a week. Was watching grandchildren.

@peterlgrave Thanks Peter for your comments, One thing I've learned doing 365 is to slow down and be very patient, the beauty of digital photography is you can take as many shots as you like to get it right;)
