Niagara Falls in winter is a fairytale landscape frozen in time. My visit this time was extra picturesque. The combination of rushing water and long icicles hanging from the trees turn the landscape into a fairy tale scene.

OMG, when I first looked at this shot I thought it was a composite. What a bad mistake, and what an incredible view. I've never lived anywhere in my 77 years that has snow and ice in winter so scenes like this are always eye-openers to me.
Wonderful image - the peaceful, snowy foreground - then that turbulent water and spray - and finally that cityscape with its threatening sky - all on one image. Fabulous!
