Frozen chrysanthemums by pdulis

Frozen chrysanthemums

With all this crazy Coronavirus stuff going on - I started a project at home - Frozen Flowers. Having lots of fun with it - its a bit experimental, but I'm getting the hang of it. Hope you like them :)
ps - Photography is a way of feeling, of touching and of loving even in the days of social distancing ...
ps - I will send out a "Frozen Flower How-to Cheat Sheet" - you can sign on here if you'd like one - https://photographyadventures.ca/newsletter-sign-up/

Do you care to share how you are doing this? Our camera club might be interested in this project as the COVID-19 is getting serious here. More of our members might be distancing themselves and focusing (see what I did there?) on projects on their own.

Your shot is gorgeous .... the lighting the DOF, POV are lovely. Please share how you are doing this... and FAV'D !!!! Too bad I can't fav more than once!

Have you got freezing temperatures in Toronto or are you using a freezer? Love what you're doing.

@pdulis Thank you!

@shepherdmanswife - thanks Shepherdmans wife - Our temps in Toronto are still hovering around 0 to 5%C. I find myself experimenting - I start them in the freezer - then move them out into the garage - part of the experiment is to photograph the various stages of un-freezing :)

@pdulis that’ll keep you busy if you have to self isolate. 😊 I wish it was colder here. We’ve had nothing but storms and rain!
