For those not familiar with the UK system of vehicle registration, number plates are usually randomly generated numbers following a code (as to geographical area). However, you can buy old numbers no longer in use, and some choose to do this for personal or business reasons.
Ha I thought for one awful moment I was on Gary's laptop. (he's an auto locksmith) Most of the guys we know have "key" in the number plate. Gary doesn't I must add! Personalised plates do seem to be going out of fashion these days I think.
Ha ha, great personalised numberplate! I have one myself..... hubby bought it for me after I had a spate of not being able to find our car in the car park!! He figured if it had my name on, I would manage ;)
When we lived in Cyprus an Ex-pat who lived in our village had a number plate THE 805 S which looked like THE BOSS. His wife used to drive the car more than he did, so you can tell who the boss was.
