Later edit: Today I discovered the recently regenerated area on the South Bank of The Thames between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. It was wonderful. Not so long ago this wasn't an area to visit on your own and certainly not after dark. Now it's all new build, trendy eating places, and great photo opportunities!
