We've now moved from Victoria Falls, in Zimbabwe, across the border to Botswana, and the Chobe National Park. We are very lucky to catch this pride of lion dozing in the sun. I am really pleased with this shot - at the extreme limit of the lens, it turned out much better than I thought it would.
@yrhenwr It's a great place. I'm glad to say we had no bull elephants charging us. That must have been scary. @lyno Lyn, well, I certainly couldn't afford it every year. We last went to Africa 6 years ago, and had such a great time, we vowed we would have to return. I'm guessing we'll get there again, although I think booking direct is probably on the cards, rather than through a UK agent.
