the captain's verses
Now, this is desperate times. Run out of time this day, remembered I hadn't got a photo so this is another smartphone shot taken on the run.
"The Captain's Verses" by Pablo Neruda is an amazing book of poetry - see the film "Il Postino" for an introduction. It's worth it.
And, I believe I am now caught up. Hurray!

Caryn - I was reminded that one of these poems also features in the classic Brit rom-com "Truly, Madly, Deeply".
