a jangle of forks? by peadar

a jangle of forks?

OK, so I have miraculously recovered from the flu in a day (so resilient!). Thank you for all your kind words.

Here's a jangle of forks? Or, do you know the proper collective noun?
Glad you are feeling better! Nice picture!

Creative again! And glad you feel better.

Nice lines and shadows - no idea about jangles but it sounds good! (Glad you're well.)

Interesting, deliberately random shot. My own take would have been to make more of the shadows, but then it wouldn't have been as random.

@carmel Ariel, yes, I was trying to do that, but these "simple" shots are surprisingly complicated, and I didn't quite get the shadows I wanted. But, I think, for the sake of one's sanity, that you have to limit the time you spend arranging forks (or beans, or asparagus or whatever) otherwise it all gets out of hand!!!

Oh that did make me giggle Peter! Yes, you are right, for the sake of sanity (and to stop our other halves wondering what on earth we are doing, and why) time has to be limited!

Ok, I've thought this one through!! A flattery of forks........as knives and forks (silver of course) are known as flatware....obvious!!!! Great shot, love these 'simple' shots of yours Peter the pencils hit the big time though!!! fab!!

Very nice, Peter. . .I love Fanny's suggestion for the name. . .but I'm embarassed to admit that I've already forgotten the real name we found for the last one you asked us for!

Awesome. I love the shadows!
July 19th, 2012
@lyno Lyn - it was a "flack of pencils".

I'm loving your collective nouns series Peter. I think this flattery is arranged very nicely!
