This is one of the new concessions at the re-developed Waterloo main line station in London. I was struck by the fact that we seem to be comfortable and reassured when we are recreating environments from 100 years ago.
I'm still playing with "negative clarity" (for those who don't use Lightroom or similar, this is one of the adjustment options in the Develop module that allows you to sharpen and increase contrast [positive clarity] or soften and reduce contrast [negative clarity] in the image). Enough already!
Thank you so much for all your recent comments - particularly as I play around with rather esoteric software adjustments. I really appreciate your support.
I also like the lighting.
And I love reading your post about the shot. I use Lightroom almost daily and have never paid any attention to that until you mentioned it. Thanks!
really like this one - I think of all of your negative clarity experiments, this is my favorite. . .I like the sort of glow that surrounds the baked goods in the case.
Thats really interesting, I don't have lightroom but love how you've done this, would be interesting to see the original....all the editing programs look so complicated, downloaded Gimp..no idea even how to start!! Love the glow in the bread section...
