@iheartbooks At f/8 (to get a deeper depth of field) the shutter speed of 1/80 is not fast enough to "freeze" the water drops, so you get these trails, which are the individual drops of water travelling through the air. It was a lucky shot, though :-)
Hi again Peter. Just came across your holiday photos from last year. Brought back memories. We lived in Cyprus from 1983/1986 and had a wonderful time there. I think it is a lot more touristy these days though which is a shame, we lived there when it was still recovering from the 1974 war and it was still very raw. We saw a programme on TV a few days ago on cyprus and Limassol is now concrete and karaoki which is a shame. Hope the villages are still the same as they were.
@onewing Babs, there is a lot that is commercial and building sites all over the place. However, we had a villa up in the hills away from the crowds and really enjoyed it. We did find some wonderful little villages with great tavernas, and everyone was very friendly.
