Ceanothus macro blue

We've invested in a few mature shrubs and trees to give our refreshed garden a head start. This arrived today - Ceanothus "Trewithin Blue". Also known as "Californian Lilac", they are a magnet for butterflies and other insects.

Lovely colour, great choice. We have one that’s about 25 years old and it just hums with 100’s of bees when it’s in flower.
