Harvest time...

I think I have mentioned previously that our revitalised garden now includes a dedicated kitchen garden; this was today's harvest of mint, parsley, chives and rosemary. There is so much produce I'm sharing it with friends so it doesn't go to waste. They tell me herbs can be chopped and frozen, so I'll have to try that!

Yes, I chop and freeze all the time
use ice cube trays - fill with just herbs or herbs and water or herbs and olive oil
throw in pot when cooking

You can freeze and dry, but the best is fresh. It is a pity that the herbs are fresh for such a short time.
