Reedham swing bridge by peadar

Reedham swing bridge

Norfolk Broads series: This bridge carries the railway line from Norwich to Lowestoft across the River Yare, and swings open to allow the passage of boats too tall to pass under it. It was built in 1902, and replaced an earlier Victorian era swing bridge.

Had to look twice. Never seen something like that before. But it is a clever idea!
