My husband is usually one of the first at the train station every morning for the short trek uptown...today there were a couple more early risers joining him.
@fluffy -It was 6:40 am....it'll be a little lighter when the time changes in November. Tom can walk to work in 15 to 20 minutes. But, the train station is just two blocks from our house and his office is a five minute train ride away. The train is so much more convenient when it's hot, cold, windy, rainy, or still dark outside :)
Wow, I don't think it's ever that dark here at that time! I remember the old days in Sydney going to work in the dark like this. You've caught the mood beautifully.
Too funny Peggy. I'm not sure, actually, I know for sure that I'm not nice enough to get up that early with my husband!! He might want breakfast! And, my mom's sweet little boyfriend didn't know I was taking his picture. My mom had been in the hospital a couple days with dizzy spells, which turned out to be her diabetes being out of whack again, so he was trying to clean up her lawn for her. He is twelve years older than my mom, so I really worry about her losing him. She will be heart broken. He is just a treasure.
@petersonsheri I certainly hope your mother is feeling better, Sheri. Carsten looks amazingly spry in your photo...I think he and your mom should have quite a few good years together. Such a sweet love story...and a relationship that, I'm sure, gives each an extra reason to get up in the morning.
Re your comment: Thank you....everyone calls her that...mini me! :o)
