Spent too much time this afternoon practicing with my new camera. My mother would be happy to know that I was actually using my 'good' china for something. :)
Your "good" china is gorgeous Peggy, and I love the cropping too. It's much more interesting to not do the whole round thing. The colors in this shot just pop. Beautiful!!
This is gorgeous China! I would be using it every day--and one by one, it would be broken and gone, lol. I have to stick with ugly Corelle just because I have tendency to break things (:
and that said--I promptly stood up minutes after posting that and knocked my one glass bowl off the coffee table with my foot. Who knew they would shatter like that? Ugh
Great shot Peggy, beautiful china! I'd be afraid to use it for fear of breaking even a single piece. I absolutely cannot find anything blue to take a picture....as usual I'm probably overthinking it!! :) Your picture reminds me though that I do have a LOT of Polish Stoneware that is primarily blue....you've given me an idea so if out of desperation I take a picture of that for the theme I will give you credit for the inspiration behind the picture!! :)
this is so pretty I love the colours but the question is: is it the beautiful china or the new camera - personally I would say it is the photographer :) Hope you are enjoying your new camera
@clarissajohal Ooops! Precisely why I don't use the 'good' stuff...at least not often. :) Not to mention the fact that it should be washed by hand. Ugh.
I would have used it a lot!
Thanks for the very nice comments, everyone! When I was looking for something blue theme related to practice photographing, it surprised me how little blue there was to be found in my house...so the good stuff was put into service. @Sheri ~ your candy dish shot started it all. :)
