...and it's all bad. This bird is incredibly nasty. She runs all the other birds away from the feeder, dive bombs me and the cat, and is just generally loud and obnoxious. But I kind of like her and her bad attitude. :)

I saw from your comment that your husband is making work trips to Finland. I hope he did not get plenty of troubles in traffics here.
The southern part of Finland has got more snow in this winter as usual and they there near our capital are not have been prepared well enough.
I am living in the eastern part of Finland and we have every winter plenty of snow and that is why we have to bee ready to it.

@lehy Greetings to you, Leena! When Tom (husband) worked for Kvaerner Power he made monthly trips to Tampere. He hasn't been in quite a while ~ but, wants to take a trip for pleasure to Finland. He loves it there and wants me to see it too. I would love that. Stay safe and warm with all of that snow!
Oh, you can tell by the look on her face and how fat she is that she is the boss...she eats well! We have a Blue Jay here that is exactly like that.....nasty and greedy.
Great picture Peggy. I love watching the birds, and when you see one that you just know should be wearing little reading glasses as it looks it you down it's beak, you have to laugh. She's so plump! I guess if you scare all of the other birds away, you get all the food. Pretty smart!
I love birds...and this one looks like she is getting plenty to eat! I always think of stories for children's books...and couldn't you see a book about the little bully bird that doesn't like to share and in the end learns some sort of lesson? Ha...well you can tell I am a school counselor. :-)
