I just liked the look of this brick wall with it's peeling paint.
It was a perfect almost spring day today ~ 75 degrees (23 C). Took a long walk and a zillion shots, but decided to go with the old paint photo. I can relate to the wear and tear of age. :)
sniff-sniff....I'm convinced it's never going to be spring here.....oh sorry Peggy. Just feeling sorry for myself here in freezing cold MN. Your photo reminds me of all that is NOT here. I'm so ready for this!
I really like the texture of the peeling paint too. It kind of goes along with the slightly drooping daffodils. They're so beautiful, yet starting to get a little sad. Lovely picture Peggy! Are you having any relief from your relapse?

Feeling much better mentally...physically, I'm coming around. Got my yoga mat out a few days ago for the first time in weeks. Yoga and meditation (and medication, :>) seem to be helping me make a come back. I'm determined to get off this chemo crap. Nasty stuff. :) Thanks for asking, Sheri. Hope you are feeling well...headaches??
Love the old paint. Still holding out hope for an early Spring here :)
You should definitely visit Boston again! We walked around the city for four hours and never got bored. Of course, I definitely picked the wrong month to quit sugar because the cannolis were calling my name!
That's not wear and tear Peggy it's character and life experience :0). Love the composition and the detail is great - fancy daffs too. Glad you're feeling better - the drugs are not nice - you're very cheerful in the face of adversity!!
Love the texture here, Peggy, and the contrast between the failing wall and the hope that comes with Spring. Nice composition as well. (Eager to hear about your class!)
