Here's the story behind this pic ~
This is the new CD by the Rum Punch Bandits, my former sister-in-law's fiance's band. A very cool trop-rock sound. I'm excited for Bob and his boys. Thought I could give them a little global exposure with this photo. :) Happy weekend, everyone!

Not sure what trop-rock is? This is an old family recipe so don't go handin' it out to
everybody.....simply take a dash of Jimmy Buffett, a pinch of Jerry Jeff, a splash of
Steve Goodman, a hint of Robert Earl, an ounce of Bob Marley, a smattering of British
Invasion, a plethora of Grateful Dead, a grain of Carolina beach music and throw 'em
all in the blender and puree 'til smoooooooth.

Love it! Particularly like the definition of Trop-Rock!! I'm waiting for my son to emerge from his room as he'll be particularly interested. Had a look at the site: they're a cool-looking bunch aren't they? Very amusing. I don't suppose they've got a sample of their music anywhere on the web to listen to, have they?

I saw you post something about this on fB yesterday and knew there must be story behind it. The colorful CD & cover are cool and you did an amazing job photographing it. And the definition of trop-rock is something else...love it!
