110 degrees F ~ 43 C...granted the thermometer was in the direct sunlight. :) The actual high today was 97 F ~ 36 C. It's going to be a long, hot summer.
It's 5oC here (41oF), it's freezing and my heater is not working well (the man is coming today thank goodness!), so I'm flying over to visit you (not really but tempted!) x
WOW! We thought it was a hot summer day at our house (80deg). We've been in the pool most of the day. We don't get many 90 deg days up on a mountain in Northeast PA. I hope you're finding ways to keep cool.
@schoolnsuch 80 degrees sounds like a perfect summer day to me. I try to make sure I get all my outside stuff done before lunch and then retreat to the AC. :) Happy summer!
I'm with you Peggy! I'm a jeans and sweater, put on the kettle of soup kind of girl too. I enjoy the 70s, and maybe low 80s if there isn't humidity. Otherwise, I hide in the AC. Ugh!!
Oh yes--I'm so sad about the temps too! When we first moved here it was cooler than California, now they have all the rainy weather and we're steamy hot!
it is just a perfect warm new summer day here and i am off to the rehab pool.
