Tom and I came across this interesting tepee tucked away on the mountainside. I'm not sure what it's used for other than a home for the little groundhog that came running out when we got close. I think he was a bit miffed about being disturbed. :)
That is an awesome Teepee. It's too much home for a stinky groundhog though....I still have not been able to catch the mom groundhog under my deck...it's very frustrating. She has eaten all my butterfly bushes. =(
So not all groundhogs live in teepees? I've a lot to learn ;0). I'll tell you what - that teepee is a beauty. Love your collage - that's not a Picnik one is it?
Actually with all the groundhog talk I've forgotten to mention the stunning location of that teepee - incredible - but you wouldn't want to roll about!!
That is a native american chip monk . Great shot of this, and hard to believe people lived in all kinds of weather in them.
You can get a trap from your local critter control for your ground hog. They work well.
Can you blame the groundhog for taking up residence? It’s certainly more appealing that a dirt burrow or wherever they normally live! I love running across things like this that seem out of place or unexplained.
