First Round Draft Pick... by peggysirk

First Round Draft Pick...

for my team any day. :) It was a gorgeous day and Harper had a wonderful time playing in the park.
no winter jacket - I am jealous. She is so cute and I would have her on my team too

I love how you put this together with the park as the background. And of course she just puts a smile on my face!!! Love the contortion to get the other ball too! One is evidently not enough!

Just when I thought she could not possible get any more adorable! There she goes! Such a beautiful little girl! Love the way you put this together! Looks like it was a perfect day for the park!

I love the way she is clutching that ball to her chest, a future Rugby or baseball player ? I think that is the shape of a baseball !!

This shot has me giggling, Peggy. Such determination on that little face. Reminds me of Annie playing football. Great collage. Love the park photo as a background.

@happypat LOL!! You'll be appalling our American cousins Pat!! This takes me back - Nigel taught Rachel to play rugby at that age and then we had to unteach her as most of the kids played football (as in soccer) and she kept running away with the ball!

@judithg @happypat I was just going to let Pat off the hook. :) I know that the NFL plays an exhibition game in London each fall...maybe our American version of football will catch on over there...or maybe not. :)

Very cute!

@peggysirk Lots of people like to watch it but hardly anybody plays it - I think there's a team in Cambridge because we have a lot of Americans living here (there definitely used to be one) but there is no culture of it in schools and it takes too much equipment! Also most of our kids want to get on the pitch and stay on - too much coming on for one kick in American Footie!! Mind you I saw the Army Navy game when I was in Puerto Rico and that was a lot of fun because we were a partisan crowd (half the audience living in Annapolis and/or teaching at the Naval Academy we knew which end Obama REALLY wanted to stand at!!)
