The airport was very quiet at 4:30 yesterday morning when I dropped Tom off for his early flight to Houston. In fact, I didn't even see any security officers along the departure drop off zone to give me a scowl when I stepped out of my car to snap a quick shot of nothing going on. :)
Three Good Things:
1. Today, September 13, is Positive Thinking Day. http://www.positivethinkingday.com/
2. Sleeping with the windows open ~ it was 58 degrees (14C) last night.
3. Finally getting over my nasty cold or flu or whatever it is ~ think I'm going to live. And, more importantly, be able to attend Harper's 2nd birthday party this weekend. :)
Three amazing things about this post:
1. You got up to drop Tom off - when Nigel leaves this early I grunt and roll over.
2. You did 3 positives - I've been a bit slow thinking of them today - good things happened but they all involveRachel leaving and I don't want her to read it and think that I think it's a good thing!!!
3. Harper is nearly 2 !!!!!!!
I love different airports so to see this one at ...oh I don't know, was going to say Houston but that is the destination!!! It does look very quiet & Tom had a very early start! Harper is having a birthday, so glad you will be well enough to go, there is no birthday without the much loved granny...not sure of Harpers proper name for you Peggy..enjoy & show us the photos please!
Peggy - I am glad you are on the mend!! The positive thinking site is awesome. It's nice that we have already started with our three good things...as we all know, some days it is hard to do! And look, you have done FOUR! BTW love the warm light in this shot.
@happypat This is the CLT airport, Pat ~ officially known as Charlotte-Douglas International. Harper calls me Grammy...a title I share with your Queen. I've read that Wills and Harry call their grandmother "Grammy". :) I will certainly be using Harper's birthday as my post on Sunday or Monday or both!
@judithg I can relate to your good things dilemma ~ the first ones that came to my mind had to do with having three days to myself with Tom being in Houston on business...but then I thought he, or others reading the post, would think I was happy to have him gone. :) I am glad that good things are happening with/for Rachel as you prepare for her departure...a bittersweet time for all, I know.
@bpaquette Thanks, Barbara. Glad you like the site. You're so right about having difficulty coming up with three good things every day ~ and I'm a pretty positive person. I might use a day every once in a while to list Three Bad Things...just to vent. :)
