Some of you who have been with 365 for a while might remember Barbara Harris. She was a delightful, positive, engaging, and talented individual who I connected with early on in my 365 project. She was also a courageous warrior battling an aggressive and relentless cancer. After Barbara left 365 I would occasionally touch base with her through her Winos and Foodies blog. This morning when I logged on to her site I learned the heartbreaking news that Barbara lost her long, brave fight. She passed away on June 30th. I hate that I'm so late in finding out. I feel like I should have been in closer touch and I regret that I wasn't. She was such a remarkable, lovely lady.
I have bookmarked this remarkable lad'y's blog to read more fully later. She had spirit & determination & her family & friends will miss her dreadfully but she lives on with her legacy of photos & words. A very loving tribute Peggy!
How very sad - it's a cruel disease and it does feel horrible losing any of our 365 family. I notice there was a Discussion about Barabara started on September 19th.
@judithg Thanks so much for pointing out that discussion, Judith. I checked it out and saw that there is going to be a LiveStrong-yellow theme in Barbara's memory on 10/2. Thanks again!
