The "Ladder" by peggysirk

The "Ladder"

The neighbor who lives in this house was using a yardstick duct taped to a broom handle and was standing on the kitchen chair to get the Christmas lights out of the tree. There was an actual ladder lying in the driveway, but she said she didn't like ladders. She said that her husband was planning to use it to get the lights down when he got home from work...but that she was on a roll with getting things taken down and was using her own method. Apparently her method worked quite well. By the time I got back with a camera, the lights were out of the tree, boxed up and in the garage. But the 'ladder' was still there. Not the greatest photo...but, it's all I have for today.

Three good things:
1. I fixed a glitch in my new computer by googling the problem, uninstalling the faulty program and reinstalling it. Not a big deal for most people, but I feel like a total Geek ~ the good kind. :) Next issue, to figure out why my printer only wants to print half of each page...arrrgh.
2. A clean, well organized media cabinet ~ my uncluttering project for today
3. One more cook-free night. I had chicken nuggets last night, so I'm thinking cereal tonight. :)
What a beautiful home. Never understand why people take those chances because that sidewalk is very unforgiving once you hit it head first.
I feel I should share my three good things today too (although I haven't done this before - but I enjoy yours)
1. I fixed a glitch in my computer today too :) my microphone on my Facetime wasn't working and was able to google and fix it.
2. I cleaned my 'photography/computer' room today too and organized it.
3. Hmmm was suppose to be a cook-free night too as we were going out for dinner with friends. They had to cancel at the last minute which worked out as my husband is starting that cold. I had prepared dinner for my daughter today so she wouldn't have to cook when they came home from work and of course she was thrilled. But then I had to cook another meal. So I guess that would be a cook-twice night.

You have so many homes in your "hood" that are my dream homes. Absolutely lovely. I just wouldn't want to have to keep it clean anymore! I seems that the older I get, the less I care about housework!
I have really enjoyed reading your Three Good Things. It's so nice to get a dose of positivity. :)

@petersonsheri I jumped right on the 3 Good Things bandwagon when it was suggested by a fellow 365er. I loved the idea...kind of like a gratitude journal.

Nice house! Slightly mad owner but I sympathise with her getting on rather than waiting for the bloke who in my experience so often doesn't want to jump straight in with chores on his return from work!! I'm liking your cooking choices - it'll be cereal for us unless I rally myself to order a takeaway!
