Last weekend, while Elizabeth was here, we drove by a very run down, sorry looking motel with a single car in the parking lot. I had my camera with me and Elizabeth thought the motel would make a rather 'film noir' kind of shot. So she pulled over, I lowered the passenger side window of her black SUV and stuck my long camera lens out and started taking shots. Apparently we were being watched by the rather imposing room occupant who got up and headed toward the door...at which point I said, "Uh oh, let's go" and Elizabeth said, "We're out of here" as she laid on the gas. I'm thinking the poor dude in Room 120 was left thinking, "What the ____", and was trying to figure out if his wife had hired a private investigator or the Feds had him on stakeout or what ??

Three good things:
1. Got around to planting pansies in the porch planters this morning. Better late than never. :)
2. Very little traffic when I took Tom to the airport a while ago. Still can't get over how little traffic Charlotte has compared to Atlanta.
3. Another no-cooking night...and a good chance to catch up on comments.
Love the effect you have achieved with the reflections in this car. Fun story here. Sounds like you and Elizabeth had loads of fun. Enjoy your "no-cooking" night. I have one tonight as well.
Oh goodness Peggy, you little devil......one of these days one of us 365ers are going to get into trouble. I can imagine what this poor guy is thinking & some poor wife is going to get the 3 degree when he gets home!!! There again he might have deserved it!!!!!

Hahaa - I bet you freaked him out. Well serves him right if he's got a guilty conscience! I put pansies in our windowbox at the weekend - seemed to be past the time to get rid of the dead geraniums.
