Another rainy day. Apparently Scrappy and his feral friend, Pax, were caught in a downpour before taking refuge on the side porch. Scrappy seems to be thinking, "A few less photos and a towel or two would be nice". After I snapped a quick shot, I did go out and dry off the boy. Pax, on the other hand, is far too skittish for close human contact. But she did appreciate the food bowl refill.
Three good things:
1. The rain is supposed to be out of the picture by the weekend
2. Started a good new book last night ~ The Steve Jobs biography
3. My elderly neighbor was thrilled with some brownies I took over to her yesterday...thrilled to point I realized I should be doing that much more often.
Scrappy has a friend?! Crikey! You have been a good Samaritan to cat and neighbour today - you are a star! And you've reminded me that I promised to make Millionaire's Shortbread for Adam's little trip away and I've forgotten the ingredients. Ah well - he'd have finished it all on the train before he got there....
Well these two look a couple of n'er do wells!!! A little roughed up but wanting to come in out of the rain, poor Scrappy he is lucky you take such good care of him!!!!
The book sounds interesting!!
Who would have thought that tough guy could look SOOOO pitiful! I had leftover homemade brownie pudding and took a piece to my Mom yesterday - she was very torn about putting it down when the phone rang from my sister saying her son and daughter-in-law had just delivered their second child! We do lose sight of the little things that mean so much!!!
Love this shot of the two feline silhouettes, particularly with Scrappy looking at you so disdainfully! Great shot Peggy. Shame you are so far away as I could do with someone bringing me brownies too!
