Sunset Through the Corn by peggysirk

Sunset Through the Corn

There was a absolutely spectacular sunset the afternoon we were at the farm, but I was 'lost' in the middle of a corn maze with too much lens on my camera. I couldn't get far enough away from corn stalks to capture any more than a hint of the amazing golden sky.

Three good things:
1. I put the electric blanket on the bed in preparation for the first really cold night of the season...22 degrees (-5 C) tonight
2. I plan to get in bed early tonight with my warm blanket, hot chocolate, and creepy, scary book
3. Tuesdays
Nice shot great colors

Sounds like a perfect evening, I haven't had hot chocolate for years!! Cold in your part of the world, a blanket is essential if you want to read in bed!!
Great corn close up & the sunset is so close through he stalks it looks uncanny!

Even caught some nice bokeh there Peggy

Love the soft bokeh behind those crisp stalks. I have brought out my microwave rice bags to take the chill off the bed...and my down throws for the couch. Mmm...if it's going to be cold out, I like these creature comforts!

Glorious colours - that must be the coldest you've had it since winter before last? Last winter you seemed to have lovely mild weather or have I misremembered?!
