The bartender was kind enough to take this shot of 365er, Sheri Peterson, and me on Thursday. Sheri flew in from Minneapolis, MN to Charlotte to meet up with her sister and continue on to a wonderful four days in the Virgin Islands (Nevis) to celebrate her birthday. I adore this lady and had a fun few hours with her. I hope she is having an amazing time in her warm, tropical vacation location. It certainly is a miserably cold and rainy day here today.
Three good things:
1. Tom and I had a delightful time with granddaughter, Harper, at The Singing Christmas Tree for Kids performance today.
2. Listening to Harper sing along to familiar Christmas songs with made up lyrics. :)
3. Being home with the cold rain pouring down, a cozy fire, getting ready to make chili, and a free evening ahead to catch up with 365 comments.
Is she going to the BVI or the American? My son is in Tortola in the British Virgin Islands setting up some business! Look him up - Shaun Munro - he was @sicamore on 365 but doesn't post any more! He's a pilot. Lovely photo of you two, pity the bar man didn't focus first! Most people don't have a clue!
@digitalrn I WISH I'd met up with Sheri in the Virgin Islands, Rick. I just picked her up at the Charlotte airport, delivered her to her hotel, and hung out with her until her sister arrived a few hours later. They had a flight out of CLT to St. Kitts early the next morning.
