The Christmas Eve service at St. Peter's Episcopal Church...a sweet reminder that Christmas should be more about the gifts of the heart than those under the tree.
Happy Christmas to all!!!
Three good things:
1. Family
2. Reminders
3. “Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!” :)
― Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
Love this lovely photo of the real Christmas Peggy...everything is so much better with simplicity & love.
I think you receive much more than you give if you know the real meaning of this special time. Love all the children there & a very beautiful church. I went to Midnight Mass last night but I was very disappointed I must say...no organ this year & we nearly wrecked our voices singing too much loudly to make up...the priest is retiring in two weeks & then we have to share so there won't be one next year.
That's the way it goes...have a wonderful day & a very Happy Christmas to you & yours. xx
Thank you, @happypat and @judithg !! Happy, happy Christmas to you both! And Pat, I know how disappointing it is to have a well liked priest leave the parish. Perhaps in time your church will have it's own wonderful new priest.
Love to see and hear a children's choir at Christmas. Great shot, love how you managed to catch a few of the kids looking at you. Merry Christmas to you Peggy.
