One of my favorite Christmas gifts was this wonderful book from daughter, Molly. It's a priceless collection of photos of my grandbabies from 2013 that I will treasure always. LOVE it!
Three good things:
1. Spent most of the day yesterday at my mom's house helping her take down and put away her Christmas decorations. I was rewarded with lunch at the golf clubhouse...a Crab cake sandwich and a Bloody Mary...yum. :)
2. A cold, rainy Sunday to stay home, clean the house, and watch the Packers vs the 49ers (NFL playoff game) play in sub-zero weather in Green Bay, WI. I shouldn't complain about cold temps.
3. First episode of "Downton Abbey" season 4 on tonight
3/b. Oh...and delicious beer-battered fried onion rings with that crab cake sandwich and Bloody Mary yesterday...how could I forget to mention those!
What a beautiful gift... I did something similar for my mum a couple of years back. I found a bunch of undeveloped 35mm film from when we were younger in a box of things I am storing for them and I had it all processed and made a photo book... I think gifts like that mean so much to people. =)
Oh Peggy, there could have been no better Christmas gift! That's priceless Knowing how beautiful Harper is in every photo I've seen of her, I'm sure the book is stunning. You're blesses to have those babies and such a thoughtful daughter!
*Thanks* for the heads up about "Downton Abbey"! I haven't turned on the television since mid-August, but for this I'll make an exception! I appreciate the reminders; we also ditched the DVR!
As I am starving myself for tonights feast I particularly like your #3b GT.
That book is so precious...love that photo of Harper, her profile is so very sweet....the hair does it for me!!
What a beautiful present that you will treasure forever. Something I look forward to making many of in the coming years. As Kim said, grand kids and photographs will be two if my favorite things too.
