The Robin seemed to be a bit intimidated by the icy Darth Vader-like glare of the Cedar Waxwing on the birdbath. When I snapped this shot I didn't realize the second bird was a waxwing or I would have focused on him...we don't see many of those beautiful birds this far south.

This picture works perfectly with your description, I love the expression you captured on the Robin's face! He does look like he's deciding if he wants to stay or go! I rarely see Cedar Waxwings either but did see a pair briefly a couple weeks ago during one of our way-below-zero cold spells. They were at the apple orchard gorging on apples with the silly Robins who came back way too soon this year!
