A Happy Home

This cute heart caught my eye when I was out walking in the 'hood. Although the sign above the doorbell is pretty cute too. It says, "Careful - Free Range Children". Should've focused in on that instead of the heart. ☺

Three Good Things:

1. Homemade chicken noodle soup
2. Friendly neighbors and free range children
3. Plans to snuggle in near the fireplace and finish reading my book on a cold February Friday night
This is so inviting - I bet it's a jolly place!!!

I think I am going to move into your neighborhood! It's so quaint and homey!

I love your houses with their friendly porches Peggy....how could you not talk to your neighbours while sitting there! I would love a house with a wrap around deck! Must be a very long road....2100 is a big number! What book are you reading Peggy?

And it looks very welcoming too.

@happypat The neighborhood is very walker and talker friendly, Pat. I love it here. :)
I'm reading Night Film by Marisha Pessi. It was nominated by some literary review group as one of the best mysteries of 2014. I have been struggling for days to finish it so that I can start on something new. I would not recommend it. I really haven't liked it at all...but once I invest time in a book I feel like I should finish it. And I kept hoping it would get better.

@peggysirk I'm reading one like that too...every time I pick it up to read when I go to bed I have forgotten what's happened before so have to look back, I like it once I get into it again but it's slow going!
