A friend (and former 365er), Sheri Peterson, posted on fB a different take on Advent calendars. This Advent observance adds something each day leading up to Christmas to be donated to a charitable cause. I loved that idea and started a collection of toiletries to be donated to the local women's shelter. Food pantries, animal shelters, homeless shelters, clothing drives...so many good causes for this kind of project.
Three Good Things:
1. Ben and Jerry's New York Super Chunk Fudge ice cream...especially the chocolate covered almond chunks ☺
2. Tree is up and Christmas decorating is done
3. Walking to yoga class today to offset some of the effects of Good Thing #1
